CURTAIN TAPE
Curtain headings are a way of customizing and styling blinds and draperies so that the overall width of the fabric is reduced, creating a range of pleats or folds. The perfect heading tape can transform the appearance of any curtain, drape of pelmet. Narrowtex offers a wide range of curtain header tapes with varying widths to elevate curtains or blinds with perfect effects of pleating, gathering, ruffling or stiffening.

ROMAN BLINDS
Roman blinds create a smooth, streamlined silhouette and provide a classic and contemporary look. Narrowtex produces roman blind tapes that houses a pocket for the rod and a guide for the cord. The tape has a unique float that allows fine blind to be carried behind the tape. Roman blind heading can also be used as a gathering tape for lightweight curtains.
PINCH PLEAT CURTAIN TAPES
Narrowtex produces a range of headings that extend to pinch pleat curtain tapes, which is a graceful decorative heading for curtains with any type of fabric. Pinch pleat headings use more fabric and are fuller than pencil pleats. Pinch pleats are permanently fixed and sewn-in heading, thus showing a more opulent, tailored look.
SMOCK PLEAT TAPES
The Narrowtex smock pleat tape offers a prettier and more unusual alternative to pencil pleat curtains. This tape creates a unique and attractive smock pleating result that is elegantly decorative. Best results are achieved when the cords are pulled tight enough so that the pleats are seen crisp and clear.
CAFÉ OR BOX PLEAT TAPE
Narrowtex manufactures box pleat heading tapes that give a very trim and formal appearance. Also known as café pleat header tape, the final pleating result drapes into deep folds down the full length of the curtains, resulting in perfectly spaced box pleats. Box pleats prevent pleat creep when fully pleated.
LINING HEADER TAPE
Lining tape is used to attach linings to curtains. Lining protects curtain damage, provides light and sound isolation and adds bulk to the curtaining. The Narrowtex lining tape has a double skirt sandwich enabling tape to be applied with only one row of stitching with no need to hem the top of the lining. The lining tape is detachable, allowing for separate removal for cleaning and fabric shrinkage will not affect the curtain.
GATHER TAPE
The Narrowtex standard gather header tapes are a traditional yet informal style which suits curtains with a shorter drop, perfectly. Gather headings can be used with tracks or poles and have a single row of pockets for the hooks.
PENCIL PLEAT TAPE
Narrowtex manufactures an extensive range of pencil pleat curtain tapes, which are simple and versatile headings. Pencil pleats form timeless traditional designs and is the standard heading for printed, plain and most fabric textures. Pencil pleats can be loose or tight and the fullness can be adjusted for preference. Due to the diverse range of pencil headings, the different construction designs produce varying pleating effects.
BUCKRAM TAPE
Narrowtex buckram tape is used to stiffen the top of the curtain for designing hand pleated headings. The stiffening header tape holds the fabric more rigid, allowing pleating shapes to be created and stabilized more easily so that pleats are kept in place when they are sewn.
TRANSLUCENT TAPE
Narrowtex manufactures a range of translucent heading tapes, designed specifically for sheer and delicate curtain fabrics. This transparent tape is primarily used for adding strength and firmness and helps to support pleats, clip rings, tabs, and
grommets. Its functionality is the same as standard heading tape and the amount of gather can be altered by pulling the cords at either end.
